what a crazy weekend.
shot 2 weddings, grabbed four hours of sleep, headed to Wolfville for the Valley Harvest half marathon w Marse and Lola at 6am. Dropped Lola off at Joann’s w the enitre Durdle family and ran the half marathon w Marse and Nicole. how was it you ask? well, have you ever been 19km out of town when you realize you really should have gone to the bathroom before the race?
the only thing that kept me running was panic and fear.
the reward was Freeman & Jean’s Thanksgiving dinner and Momsco’s Pumkin Pie. Marse’s uncle Julien was in town which was great but ultimately meant less dressing for me.
slept.
then shot w Adison & Maclean and ate smarties for 2 hours today. turns out their Mom and Dad own Massage Addict in Clayton Park. Kind of ironic seeing as how I was hobbling around on withered limbs. the girls hit the blog later this week.
met marty at the studio tonight to clean up the ‘someone’s going to get strangled or electrocuted’ mess I had made taking down the ceiling. he dropped in a couple of chandeliers and wowed us with his finish work. i think Tanya is still there painting the 9th coat of white.
settling into a bottle of red w marmar and checkin out furniture on the internet.
a very, very happy thanksgiving.
here’s a single shot of the Rolls Royce from Sean + Lindsay’s wedding on Saturday. the rain stopped as the ceremony ended and the most incredible light i have ever seen came out for about 3 hours. i waited for this wedding for 9 months and it did not disappoint. smokin couple, rolls royce and a room full of Capers. more to come in a week or so.
