Its the people that make weddings spectacular. Not the location, not the decorations or the food. Sure, it all adds to it but when you’re surrounded by 100 people who are madly in love with the bride and groom and everyone just wants to have a good time, those are the weddings you remember.
Rhonda + Grant and their 100 friends and family were one of those weddings I’ll always remember.
It’s always fun to shoot weddings with other wedding professionals that I’ve gotten to know over the last few years. My favorite, of course, is Felicity Bridal. Rhonda’s dress, lace sheath gown by Demetrios with a detachable train, is one of my all time favorites and Christa and Mickey were so excited to hear how the day went that they called first thing Monday morning wanting to see some pictures.
Scott Rideout from True North DJ set the mood for the night. I’d like to think that I know my way around a mix tape but Scott will bring you to tears with one song and then set the roof on fire with the next. Not once have I ever heard the bird dance either!
Thanks for the tease Liam… we must say we had such a great time taking these pictures and you definately put both of us at ease and allowed us to relax, you are a true professional. We will be anxiously awaiting to see how the remainder turns out. Thanks to you and your wonderful assistant Melissa.
All the best,
Rhonda and Grant
