I know the walk by now.
It comes from out of nowhere and emerges suddenly through a stairway or an elevator. Its a slow, steady, forward saunter with a hint of authoritative strut.
This awkward performance usually ends with the same question every single time.

Tonight’s shoot in downtown Halifax was no different. I was waiting for a split second for the sun to fall into the right spot to shoot a few frames of Nicole + Serge and all of a sudden, out comes the Law. This guy was pretty cool when he realized we were setting up pocket wizards and not bombs. He let us have about 2 minutes before he kicked us off the roof.
