i got a phone call from Brian Larter the other day to ask me if I had seen The Coast. I had not.
Then he told me I got second place for Best Visual Artist in The Best of… for The Coast. I was stunned and thought he was pulling my leg. I still have no idea how it happened, who nominated me or who voted for me…but thanks. if I knew who you were I would thank each of you personally. Seriously, come forward and I’ll send you a t-shirt! Congrats to James White for grabbing the top spot. He does some amazing work and I am blown away to be in the same catagory let alone, second place…you should check him out.
What? You missed it? Oh, thats because it was a size 3 font in the Coast but I’ll take it. Personally, I think second place is the best place to be…for now. The best part of all this, I can finally justify to Marse that I’m an ‘artist’ and that its normal for ‘artists’ to work until 3am and sleep until 10am.
