I love it when clients say ‘we want to do something different’. It leaves the door open to so many possibilities. Different from what? The more everything tries to be different the more it all ends up being the same. So I try to grab on the the obvious things that are different.
Meg + Collin are different from every other clients I’ve ever shot simply because they are Meg + Collin. Their life is great food and fine wine (that they’re bringing to the viewing session!!). Collin is a chef and he owns a $3000 set of knives. Meg has a gigantic suitcase full of incredible clothes.
Their wedding is going to be down south somewhere hot and warm and rumor has it they may have a small and intimate wedding right in their own backyard before they head down.
After a few meetings and the super styling of Nirah Villeneuve we decided on a Madmen inspired kitchen shoot. We also shot some stuff outside and put away the knives.
