Jennifer obviously wasn’t too upset that I tried to rename her company Slayer Wedding Cake Design because we hooked up on Thursday to shoot a few cakes for her website. She brought with her a Mad Hatter cake that she said I could….’do anything I wanted to’ with it.
so I did.
I called one of my favorite people in the world to work with and asked her if she wanted to do a very different wedding cake shoot. she said yes.
I called my buddy Jeff Harper to see if he wanted to shoot some behind the scenes footage. he said yes.
I asked Alexa to run across the street to the Monglie Grill to ask them for a big knife. she said yes.
tonight I’m headed over to Jeff’s editing suite to put together some video from the whole thing. I should have it up for Monday so come check it out…I’m planning to do a lot more video stuff over the next few months.
Here’s a few shots of 2 of Jen’s cakes. I know more now about cakes than I do about wedding dresses. I can also tell you that Jen’s cakes cannot be rivaled. I challenge you to show me a smoother fondant. check out her site HERE.
if you’re a fan of the cupcake…she will also put you into a sugar induced fit of euphoria with her round topped icing and classic flavors. How do I know this? I’ve eaten 6 since Thursday.
They look too good/perfect to eat? Is it the photographer or the baker?
woo great job…love it!!!
