kate + bj engagement shoot.Shore Club.Hubbards.

i hadn’t met Kate + BJ until the day of the shoot. kate’s parents own the Shore Club in Hubbards and that’s where we went to do a little shooting in the torrential rain last week. it was fun to do a shoot in a new location, with a new couple and no idea what the options would be in a vacant Shore Club.

seeing as I spent some time in NY trying to learn from some very rad photographers I figured i’d do the stuff i never do. i pulled out the flash and got all Jason Groupp and John Michael Cooper. it was an amazing experience to watch these 2 guys light up a scene. i’m looking forward to some sort of evolution of this over the winter.

kate + bj were very cool with allowing me to put them in the freezer and close the door so i’m expecting an excellent wedding shoot in May.
