i got all caught up in Crazy Booth that I forgot to post a few images of mike + anita. i could blather on about how awesome they are but if you know them, you already know that. if you don’t know them, trust me when i tell you they are the finest kind.
Historic Properties in Halifax can be a bit of a crazy spot on a sunny Saturday afternoon for wedding photography. lotta photos of wedding parties down there. we ran into four other weddings. (every single time i see another wedding party my mind automatically flashes this image of arm wrestling brides and half filled pints of beer…someday) so with time ticking away and shutters snapping in every direction we hit a spot I was sure no one else would be. a sweet little spot where the sun creeps through a crack between the buildings into an alley and bounces back on to a textured….green garbage dumpster. when its hot out, it smells kind of like…hot garbage. but my son, the light in there is astounding. i dare say its perfect. this was not my first time w this dumpster.
then we dodged 4 lanes of traffic for a few more spots and just as we were about to leave for the dinner i asked, “anything you guys wanted to try before we split?”
Anita walks Mike over to a post and says, “Just let me try this” and steps in to kiss him. its one of my favorites from the day. it’s all them.
HOT HOT HOT!
Very Cool.. Awesome Light!
