(this is probably the best spot to say that its our 2 year anniversary today and Lola is turing 1 on Sunday. i’m the luckiest man in the world to have what i have. i never want today to end yet i can’t wait to see where we’re headed. i love you marse (from the dark office in the basement at 1.12am).

i think i’ve said before that I try not to plan ahead for a shoot any more than a day in advance…more often that not its the same day. its the same mad little ritual before every wedding. mmj tunes, coffee and a really slow and curious drive around wherever the wedding is.
i had talked to Jennifer the nite before and we kind of planned to shoot somewhere around the steel factory and the bridge in NG. i had just run the Johnny Miles 10 and had a few ideas for some different stuff under the bridge.
well the Dragon Boat Festival cancelled all those plans. mad, mad traffic all over downtown New Glasgow.
here’s what we came up w instead. (sorry to keep you hangin’ Jennifer!)
