constructive criticism.
when you really want to get better and you can handle someone telling you your images look like shit, it’s one of the best kinds of learning you can get. and it’s free. people love to tell you exactly how they feel.
i’m lucky enough to have a few people who’s opinions i respect and value tell me just what they think every now and then. i want to know when an image I create sucks just as much as I want to know one makes people happy.
these images have nothing to do with all of this…except that I doled out some cc last week on some images i thought this very rad photog could have done better with. so after a double blog post today I’m waiting to get my comeuppance. and then get better.
thanks to Kim+Quentin and Hercules for the shoot. I haven’t done a maternity shoot in some time and I was really looking forward to it.
If it were my belly … I wouldn’t want you to touch a thing. I’d want to preserve exactly how my body had changed to house a miracle, sans liquify and smoothing!
