i have big intentions to post so many wedding images but keep getting sidetracked.
this one I had to post for a few reasons…
1. Kate contacted me back in September to come out to their family farm in Tatamagouche for a family portrait. Her brother and his wife were going to be in town from (very) Northern BC and the last time they all had a photo together was many many years ago.
2. as it turns out Marse went to school with Kate and Tucker but didn’t know that when they booked the shoot
3. we also didn’t know that Kate, who works for ATV, was going to be working on a story with Mom and the Cancer Society on a Join the Fight story that will be aired today at about 5.10pm on Live at 5. She had actually spent about 2 hours with Mom last week when they did the story.
4. i LOVE the Chicken Burger. i love it so much i wear the shirt…well, i did but I lost it somewhere. marse and I have named Thursday nites Chicken Burger nite when we move back to Bedford. why am I tell you this…well, you’re looking at the family that started it all.
i’m pretty adamant about the fact that I’m not a fan of shooting the white tops n jeans matching family portrait shoot. i love when a family comes up with an idea that really shows off who they are…so when these guys busted out the plaid I was elated. Kate had told me about a new barn they built as well as ‘the old shitty barn’…so we spent most of the day hanging out in the old shitty barn!
thanks for having me guys…sorry i couldn’t stay for chowder!
Love this. But then I’ve always been a sucker for great rimlight/backlight.
Kate and Clarke!! You guys look awesome. Great family photo. Happy Holidays!!!
Wow! They started the chicken burger?! I believe there is no such thing as coincidences, just things that are meant to be! You were meant to shoot their photo! There are too many things wrapped into your relations with them for it to have been any other way!
Wow Liam – this looks FANTASTIC! Can’t wait to see the rest!
