this was one of those wedding where you just show up and instantly become part of the family. my old job was selling pharmaceutical sales and I remember calling on this one very nice doctor, kind of quiet but there was something about him that always made me freak out just a little for the first few years…until I got to know him.
who would have known 7 years later I’d be up in his bedroom taking photos of his daughter putting on her wedding dress!
elizabeth + steven and the wedding party were (i know this sounds like every other photo blog) amazing…really. they had no problem pulling over to take a few shots in a gravel pit or standing in the rain without umbrellas. i think they may have been off their rockas on red bull and vodkas…maybe.
it rained…and no one cared. they had a little tent village set up on the lawn of the cottage in Pictou county and thanks to Avril Mulholland of Update Events the tents were out of this world.
here’s a few random shots from the day. (hope you like em Janet!)

this is one of my favorites. we stopped in to see Elizabeth’s grandfather who couldn’t make it to the ceremony but he sure looked GQ when we got there. his look says all you need to know.
The grandfather shot…one word….amazing.I love when moments such as this are forever captured in a picture….
I am a fellow photographer and your work blows my mind. You captured Elizabeth and Steve’s day perfectly. Such a great idea with the trucks and gravel pits.
Beautifully captured!
Gorgeous photos – you perfectly capture Liz’s beauty and Steve’s personality in these! I love each and every one! The one of Liz & her Grandpa is amazing!
