Halifax Wedding + Portrait Photographers + Videographers

i second shot a wedding with Emma Rose back in November. so sweet. no pressure and complete freedom to just hang around anywhere and shoot anything. i loved it and I hope we do this more often. it was a lot of fun to watch Emma work and even more fun to see how differently we look at the same green wall.

anyway, we get to talking over dinner and she told me about a shoot she did w a couple at the Shoe Shop. Brilliant. i wanted to try some of that.

so when Dawn + Huy came in to town from Calgary we hooked up there on a cold and rain/snow day. no flash. just one camera and one lense and the whole place to ourselves.

i got an email from my friend Adam the other day and we were talking about textures. i dont use them very often but because we were talking about them i tried out a few. i dont have a ‘go to’ texture but i kind of like the top image. i’m on the fence about the one below.
