the last time I saw Tara she was limping to her car after an unfortunate spill on the top of the airport parking garage. i thought she had just broken a little bone and would be fine in a few weeks. as it turns out she tore, pulled, twisted and cracked a lot of things in her foot and just got off crutches the day before the wedding.
and then I showed up again. (i thought the photo of one shoe was appropriate)
the first thing Uncle Joe said was, “oh thats the guy that broke your foot”. so for the record, i was nowhere near poor Tara when she fell. i swear.
i wasn’t planning on taking any more wedding bookings when they had called me but as soon as they said Grand Pre, I was in…and i’m so glad I did. these two families were awesome and pretty much everyone showed up w a Nikon. there were uncles in the trees, cousins in the bushes and i loved every second of it.
it was Oct 31 and the weather was perfect. full moon, setting sun, high winds and rolling clouds. Beatrice and the girls were a blast as always…i love going to Grand Pre just to watch people ask for pepper. The food is so good you don’t even need salt…and if you do ask for salt you get beat down wit the pepper mill by the chef. (thanks for the venison guys!)
tara + geoff are now in Fiji for 3 weeks but this post is for Tara’s coworkers who are waiting to see some pics from last Saturday.
enjoy Fiji…and be carefull Tara!
third one down might be one of the best shots you’ve ever done.
