Trash the Dress PEI – Julia

I knew the second that I met Julia at the Brides 2010 show in Halifax that we would end up shooting something fun together that was wedding related. Despite what you may have read, I don’t really think we had any real intention of sitting her in a pile of cow poo in her wedding dress.

Julia got us access to Bay Breeze Stables in Travellers Rest, PEI where Lynne Paynter  saved me from being eaten by a horse.  As we pulled up to the stable, Jeff was already halfway out of the car and snapping the shutter. He grabbed Julia and disappeared as Heather and I unpacked gear.

So as the story goes (my version) there is a track somewhere in the US where everyone goes to watch the horse races but at the same time, all the ladies try and find the biggest, baddest headpiece they can find. that was Julia’s inspiration for the shoot. it was an incredible way to make this shoot special to her.
